伊索，被誉为"希腊寓言之父"、"西方寓言的开山鼻祖"。大约出生于公元前620-560年，他的寓言至今仍成为全球孩子道德教材的经典读本。其中许多故事，如《狐狸和葡萄》、《龟兔赛跑》、《北风和太阳》等成为世界儿童皆知的故事，并被选入中国小学语文课本。
